Hi! I’m Johnny Ray, a professional vocal coach based in Spring Hill, Florida. With over a decade of training under a highly esteemed opera maestro and a professional vocal certification from Berklee College of Music, I’m passionate about helping singers unlock their full potential and achieve their artistic goals.
You might know me from the progressive metal band The Mourning or the metal band 3 Headed Snake. I’ve had the privilege of performing on some of the world’s biggest stages, including a renowned festival in the United Kingdom.

While I often perform in the metal genre, my formal training spans opera, pop/rock, jazz, and R&B/neo-soul. My mission is to empower vocalists from all backgrounds and styles by giving them the tools necessary to achieve their ideal sound! I have had success for over 10 years helping vocalists build the skills and confidence needed to go from singing in the shower to singing on stage!

To see students achieve their dreams is what drives me! I get a great sense of satisfaction seeing my students progress and learn new skills, I get physically excited when they learn a new technique or when they make a new achievement!
