Meet Johnny Ray

Great singing begins with understanding your voice and learning how to use it with confidence, control, and expression.

I’m Johnny Ray, a professional vocal coach, recording artist, and performer based in Hudson, Florida. My foundation includes nearly a decade of study under Maestro Mario Laurenti and a Professional Certificate in Voice from Berklee. I bring that training into a personalized approach that spans musical theater, opera, rock, metal, and more.

As the lead singer of The Mourning, with experience working with 3 Headed Snake and performing at international festivals, I understand the demands of both the stage and the studio. That experience informs how I help singers prepare, perform, and connect with an audience.

Our work begins with listening to your voice, understanding your goals, and identifying what needs attention. From building reliable technique to navigating challenging passages and developing greater confidence, every session is shaped around your individual development as an artist.

I offer in-person and remote vocal coaching, along with music production from my Hudson studio.
